Consorzio DOC Prosecco Conegliano-Valdobbiadene
Prosecco is the light, fruity sparkling wine of Italy, perfect for pairing with a variety of foods, and a delicious aperitif for picnics, days at the beach, brunch, supper, poolside barbecues and more. Prosecco grapes, grown in the verdant DOC region of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene north of Venice, produce Italy’s highest quality Prosecco, The DOC designation on the bottle is what tells you that the Prosecco you are drinking is authentic and of the best quality. To communicate the importance of “DOC quality Prosecco,” the Consorzio of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene hired M. Young Communications to produce “Vino in Villa,” an annual walk-around trade and press tasting showcasing more than 30 DOC Prosecco producers. Events have been held in New York and, in 2007, San Francisco, with more than 300 trade and press attendees.
